Expert Lecturer in Introductory Informatics Engineering Course

The Introduction to Informatics Engineering course is one of the mandatory 3 credits courses held in semester 1 of the 2016 curriculum. This course is a gateway that leads students to get to know the world of informatics, for this reason the Bachelor of Informatics Distance Learning Study Program presents expert lecturers as guest lecturers in this course. Lectures with experts are held in the form of video conferences, so students can also directly discuss with these experts.

The following is a list of topics and expert lecturers who fill the Introduction to Informatics Engineering Course:

1. The topic of Algorithm and Programming Paradigm is filled by Dr. ZKA Abdurahman Baizal who is an expert in the field of recommender systems and currently also serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics.
2. The topic of Computer Systems was introduced by Parman Sukarno, Ph.D. who is an expert in the field of networking and currently also serves as Deputy Dean 1 of the Faculty of Informatics.
3. The topic of Search Engine and Computer Vision is filled by Dr. Suyanto, who is an expert in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning .
4. The topic of Networking and Distributed Systems was introduced by Dr. Maman Abdurohman, who is an expert in information technology infrastructure and currently serves as Director of Bandung Techno Park (BTP).

The presence of expert lecturers in the Introduction to Informatics Engineering course provides extraordinary insight for students and is expected to provide motivation so that students have high enthusiasm in carrying out lectures in the Bachelor of Informatics Distance Learning study program.

Mata kuliah Pengantar Teknik Informatika adalah salah satu mata kuliah wajib berbobot 3 SKS yang diselenggarakan pada semester 1 di kurikulum 2016. Mata kuliah ini merupakan gerbang yang mengantarkan mahasiswa untuk mengenal dunia keinformatikaan, untuk itu  Program Studi S1 PJJ Informatika menghadirkan para dosen pakar sebagai dosen tamu di mata kuliah ini. Kuliah bersama para pakar diselenggarakan dalam bentuk video conference, sehingga mahasiswa dapat pula langsung berdiskusi dengan para pakar tersebut.

Berikut merupakan daftar topik beserta dosen pakar yang mengisi Mata Kuliah Pengantar Teknik Informatika:

1. Topik Algoritma dan Paradigma Pemrograman diisi oleh Dr. ZKA Abdurahman Baizal yang merupakan pakar dalam bidang recommender system dan saat ini juga menjabat sebagai Dekan Fakultas Informatika.
